Editorial & Documentary

Published work, character-driven commissions, and the moment between the pose and the truth.

I don’t do formal sittings. I do published work.

Editorial, for me, starts with the person in front of the camera being the story — not the lighting, not the backdrop, not the pose. The best frames happen when someone forgets there’s a camera at all.

That comes from motion picture production, oddly enough. On a film set, the director’s job is to create conditions where the actor can do their best work without feeling watched. I bring that same standard to editorial commissions: listen first, adjust fast, shoot quiet, and deliver the frame that was always there waiting.

These images are made for publications, features, and clients who need a photograph that reads as a story, not a product.
